Working in watercolour, I am drawn to the shore. From home I follow otters along sheltered sea lochs, scramble over rocky tidelines and trail deer through the stillness of the wood.

Days later, the oily silver colour of reflected sky on a wet coat, the breaking sea patterns of mirrored land, might have led to a painting, or not.
